Gymnastics Class intended to follow the first class Handstand Fundamentals. This class for students that feel comfortable beginning to kick up in handstands and have the surrounding environment that is safe to do so. Proper arm, wrist & core strength is required for safety and success in handstands.
Age: 5-10Y
Props: Mat, space clear of furniture & Wall allowed to walk feet up.

FOCUS: Balance, weight distribution and transfer, following directional cueing, jumping.
AGE: 3-7Y
PROPS: 4 flat objects. I'm using circles but kids can cut out of paper their own four objects to use. -
Gymnastics Shapes & Stretching
FOCUS: Fundamental Gymnastic Shapes used in most exercises. This is a great warm up with stretching and rolling.
AGE: 3-10Y
